You cannot use a cable input connection to connect a satellite TV input.
The dedicated cable you are using is your best option but some coaches can have the cable input modified to be used with satellite TV. If you can find any route where a new coax can be run from outside the coach directly to where the satellite TV receiver is located, this is your best option.
By the way, the manufacturer did not drop the ball. You are trying to connect a satellite TV connection to a connection designed for Cable TV only.
