You are talking about an automatic, probably 18" antenna on the roof, or something else? If you are asking how hard it is for an auto track HD antenna to do its job, the answer is you simply push a button. Antenna wise it is exactly whats in millions of homes in the US.
If you are referring to setting it up manually, its not allot harder than a single satellite antenna once you do it a few times.
As for the pictures, Chopper Bill is correct. Once you get used to HD, everything else looks broken and you will find yourself skipping SD shows in leiu of something that doesnt cause a headache.

Yeah in my original post I said " I have a Standard Def roof mounted self seeking Directtv Satellite" I should have said I have a Standard Def roof mounted self seeking Directtv Satellite dish. Mounted on my roof. What I would like to know is does the HD self finding seeking satellite dish have a harder time finding the HD signal than SD dish? Hope that clears it up. Still would like to know.
