    If this is the service I think it is. Then the problem is.
    They are or were planning on using frequencies already assigned to others. And the others (myself included) are objecting. However from some other stuff I've seen on the net I think they moved the frequency to another area and the already licensed folks there are 1: Fewer and 2: willing to move.
  • Phase one is only 1600 satellites at 340 miles up.

    Cost of a single launch of 60 is 62 million dollars.

    27 launches required so 1674 million dollars or 1.674 billion.

    Latency may be between 25 and 35 milliseconds.

    Current latency, with existing geosynchronous, is 600 ms.

    They are having a serious legal issue if that's the system I think it is. But I'm sure it can be resolved one way or another. IN fact.. From some stuff I've been seeing that ... On it's face... has NOTHING to do with Sat-Internet.

    I think it has been resolved.
