Streaming Digitized Video
I've been struggling to find a solution since TV's no longer play all the digitized formats I want them to play. It was recommended in another thread to try an Android player. Settled on a Dolamee D5, which I have tried at the house with a computer monitor, and it works. It still doesn't play DTS audio, but VLC app may play the high def audio. Every other format I tried it played.
Cute little box, and if I read the electrical requirements, it may run off a std USB port, but at a minimum should run off 2.1a port, meaning, I don't need to plug it into the inverter.
Mfg suggested that a different version of the D5 was limited to 2T, I plugged in a 4T and it ran fine. Not understanding why they don't know their own capability.
Since my trailer is at dealer getting service right now, I can't provide an actual in use report.
