streaming TV direct from satellite to computer

If one has direct tv or Dish, is there any way to stream the satellite feed direct to your laptop rather than the TV, if, for example, one wanted to watch TV on the laptop outside, without incurring a data charge?

    Depending on receiver it will have either HDMI or coax output. So I would say no without a converter box
