Streets & Trips GPS dongle works again.

Just ran a test to confirm S&T dongle fix.
They must have fixed the Win 10 bug that could not find the GPS.

  • Mine has always worked on Win 10. But you made me test it again. :) Still works.
  • Still not fixed on my w10. GPS still listed as a sensor and I even updated the driver. After it still is listed as a sensor.

I found the reverse driver At this web site It lets you install for a evaluation. It worked on mine.
Changed the sensor to a COM 6 port.

I don't know how long the evaluation is good for. Before having to buy it.

I only used the reverse and it is EUR 9.99 so USD is $11.18.

The "BuG" is that Microsoft turned the GPS dongle from a "Serial port" to a "Sensor" they may have fixed it, but a 3rd party did as well. Will give it a try when I move next week and see if I still need to find the reverse driver (Turns the snesor back into a com-port)

The reverse driver cost just under 12 vucks.
