Sun Blocker (screen)

Recently I have noticed a few screen sun blockers in camp sights. They look very well made and are usually black, appear to be good quality. Unfortunately I do not know the brand name and wonder if one of you might have that information or any comments on this product.
Thank you kindly,
  • Ours is a Carefree Sun Blocker. They come in burgundy, black, and blue, I think. They have a really nice case, and a couple stakes ( that we dont use )

Just measure your awning height to figure out how long you want.

    They also make side blockers.

We got ours a CW for less than internet prices last Winter. Definitely a worthwhile investment

Did that and this is what I get back from search results:

  • The ones I've seen are basically the same as the Harbor Freight garage door screen which sells for about $20 on sale.
  • I like the Carefree Sun Blocker with the side blocker.

They come in 4 colors,I picked Blue, and are easy to install, just slide into the awning channel and stake down. They give you shade and don't block the view that much and the breeze can still get thru.

Here on the left coast with our south and west facing beaches these are just what is needed to really enjoy camping at the beach and not get baked.

Available on Amazon, just pick the size and color you want
  • Mine was made by a guy in Center Hill, FL. He makes them and the ground covers. Beasly's I believe is the name. Only open from Nov-Apr and 3 or 4 days a week. On Monday he's always at the Webster Flea Market. Anyway you want them, colors, with or without the awning tube insert, grommets.

That is the same thing that happens to me when I do a search on the camping world site. Now I do not search there for anything.
