My trailer currently has a retractable antenna on the roof for analog tv. Does it work with a digital tv?
Short answer YES. It will.
Longer answer: Back in the old days Television was transmitted on a range of frequences that were numbered channels 2 through 69 (At one time 83) Today.. Same frequencies exactly. The only difference is that where as in the old days channel 2 was, channel 2 (56MHz) today it might be transmitted on Channel 7 or even 40.. There has been a general move to UHF and VHF low all but history.
Longest answer: So your existing antenna should work but there may be room for improvement.
For example adding the Wingman Upgrade to a Winegard Sensar II or III will improve the UHF range
Replacing the wall plate with a Sensar Pro will give additional improvement plus other features you will find handy.
THe biggest difference is operator re-training, and alas, the antenna here does not matter. - sch911Explorer

You can disagree but that will not make your right. Your Batwing was broken and the replacement allowed reception. The Batwing has been tested and proven to be a superior antenna to any other offering in the RV market.
The #1 most important to understand is that there is NO SUCH THING AS A DIGITAL ANTENNA. PERIOD.
An antenna receives UHF and VHF frequencies and these frequencies can receive signals that are broadcast in analog or digital.

My reception was non existent with the standard batwing until I swapped it out with the Jackd antenna. Now I can get 2-3 dozen stations depending on my location. So many with such clarity that I cancelled my Dish TV subscription.

But.... what about oxygen free coax? Aren't the pictures brighter? :)
I think it's too late to save my boots but I can still roll up my pant legs and roll down the windows to prevent drowning :R :S :h
What? You don't have a snorkel?
I never learned how to swim, even though my father threw me into Lake Okoboji :S
Even standing, as the, ehm, rises, your snorkel allows you to breath.... - swimmer_speExplorer
