T-Mobile New Family Plan

I just saw a new TV ad for T-Mobile. They are offering a multi-line phone deal until September 8. It looks like a pretty good deal for people who use a lot of data. It offers 4 phone lines with unlimited talk, text, and data with up to 10 GB of 4G high speed data per month for $120 per month. That's 40GB of high speed internet plus four phone lines for $120 per month. Or you could do 2 lines with 20 GB for $100 per month, but for the extra $20 you might as well get another 20 GB. If someone wants to download a lot of video it seems like a pretty good deal considering it also gives you the phone lines. I don't see how long is the contract, but I suppose it's for 1 year. In another thread here the typical RV fulltimer seems to use about 15 GB per month. They could really go to town with 40 GB.

Are there better deals out there for mega data users? Can a laptop be connected somehow to use that data?
  • Once you leave a Metro Area T-Mobile is useless in most parts of the country.

You get what you pay for. There is Verizon's coverage-and then everybody else.
  • There's an option on the $100/mo 10GB 4-line plan to add another 40GB shared data for $20: Quadruple Your Data.

The VERY small print seems to indicate that the plan includes waiver of the usual $15/month per line fees, as well. (If I'm reading that correctly.)

  • i got a page link ?

i'm thinking thats 10gb of shared data for the 4 phones

    $100 10GB, $120 40GB four phones
    Sprint family share

To sign up for the Family Share Pack, you’ll need to switch four lines to Sprint and buy a new phone either on Sprint Lease or Sprint Easy Pay. Sprint says that it’ll pay off your old phones and contracts when you switch and trade in your old devices.
