This has been the most repetitious line of posts on the generalities of tablets. You wanted some specifics, and one that did occur to me from a fairly specific 'work on W8 tablet' post made me think all the work was done by keyboard, and thus the touchscreed is not a big draw.
Well, if this is the case, W8 tablets are pointlrss, and a W7 netbook is a better and cheaper small footprint choice for you.
The novety you must pay extra for is touch w/ Win 8 tablets.
