I learned when I read somewhere that often texting will work when you cannot get a good enough signal to make a voice call.
Each of my grandchildren seems to have a preferred message service. I can get to one with Facebook messages, one with text, one with e- mail, etc. when I recently sold my house, my agent preferred text communication. I guess learning all of this new tech stuff is one way to keep my aging brain sharp.
