I have never watched the Weather Channel when I needed critical weather info. During those kinds of situations I want a guy in my home town standing on the lawn at city hall and that comes from my local Networks. I tried TWC during an outbreak of tornados "one time" but when there is an outbreak, there are often more than one going on in different locations and I sure don't want then cutting away to another just as one might be bearing down on me.
As a DTV subscriber for about 13 years, I would not shed a tear if TWC went the way of the Dodo bird.
