If you have a smart phone get the NOAA weather aps for it.. Those are just about the best for forcasting.
Or you can go with (in) Accuweather apps.
Another app you might include on your smart phone or tablet is M-Ping (Also from NOAA) this is an app that lets YOU report serious weather to NOAA.. I've used it a few times.
