I have an old set of windows 7 pro oem disks. When I but a computer for work, I replace the harddisk it came with, with a new one. Then install off the old set of win7 disks. Microsoft WILL sell win7 codes, but you have to jump through hoops to get them. Attempt to activate the win7, and click you don't have a code. They will then sell you one for ~$138 IIRC. Try to but the code ANY other way, and you are SOL..
