I paid around $300 for my first GPS with voice.
BUT
It was a "speech to text" function.
I TELL my GPS where I want to go. No punching in letters/streets/state/city etc on a micro screen pad.
All I do is simply 'tell her' the state, the town, the road. And of course she also speaks back to me all the directions, and yells at me when I make a wrong turn. :B
Still using the same GPS I bought in 2006 wouldn't change it for the world, don't leave home without it. :C
