If it makes a mistake, so be it. The other 99% of the time it's correct. I'll do anything to not have to ask directions or plan my route myself. That's its job.
It is one thing to make a routing mistake or take the long way around. Routing you thru downtown Wash DC rather than on 95 or 495 is an error that someone may not live to tell about. Of all the GPS errors I have seen, that one is far beyond unacceptable.
