I have a Via 1505 with updated maps. I recently went on a trip to Fla. where the GPS was more harm than good. It is set to Fastest and IQ enabled. It sent me thru Jacksonville on 95 instead of 295 ...

So it sounds like everyone that successfully uses a GPS takes the time to check the routes with a trusted mapping program. Why would anyone buy a GPS?
If it makes a mistake, so be it. The other 99% of the time it's correct. I'll do anything to not have to ask directions or plan my route myself. That's its job.
