I have a TST system with the internal sensors which are more accurate with the temperature reading. I will consistently show, on a sunny 90degree day, internal tire temps of 135 degrees and a 15 lb pressure rise from 100 lbs cold on the rig in my signature. The alarm upper limit on the temp is set at 155 degrees.
I do have a 2000lb safety margin on the trailer tires (scaled trailer axles 13000, max load on all 4 tires is 15000) which can only help.
