TracVision LF/SF Satellite Dish

The H25 will not work as it requires DirecTV SWM technology from the antenna. The HR24 "might" work but, if the dome is also a 2004 era dome it might not work with that either. If it does work you would need to get both coax outputs from the dome to the receiver as it will require 2 separate coax inputs unlike how it's now wired. Hopefully, you already know that none of the domes can receive the DirecTV high def. programming so if you had to install something different a D12 (SD receiver) might work.
You will need to call KVH to check compatibility and you will need also likely need to find an RV dealer near you willing to hook up their computer and update and possibly reprogram your dome. Expect to pay somewhere in the $200 range to have a dealer do this assuming no additional hardware is required.

The individual I purchased the coach from, showed me that it worked. But I don't know what receiver or other equipment he had installed.
I will have to call him and see if he can help.

If he had Dish Network you will have to get the unit reprogramming for DirecTV. If he had DirecTV, I would just find out which model receiver he was using.
Let us know what you find out.

Bill, the former owner also had DirecTV. Tomorrow, I will try to find out what receiver he had.

The previous owners receiver was a D12-500.

Do you think the HR23-700 would be compatible?

I don't know if this is a factor, but the Winegard distribution switch is VS-0604/6412.

The Winegard box will not be in the loop so not important here.
My guess (a complete guess) is that the age of that antenna is going to cause issues but there's one easy way to find out. Hook it up and see what happens. You can also (should also) call KVH with the information and ask them what's what. If you want to use the DVR as a DVR, you are going to need to get a second cable run from the dome so you can connect both inputs. The coax from the "main" connection would go to the receivers Input 1.
