Is your laptop on a network with a PC with a DVD drive. Share the drive on the PC, go into the network on the laptop and find the DVD shared drive, and use that to install the software to your laptop. It works and there is no need to buy a portable DVD USB unit, though one of those is good to have if taking the laptop on the road.
