As long as you don't mind typing on the screen or attaching it to a keyboard.
And don't mind the smaller screen as well..
I use my iPod for these things, but the size of the screen and limited typing ability, even with a stylus is what you give up compared to a laptop..
It's gonna be personal choice really... You can access the internet with your pad, so how do you like it? Can you type stuff easily and can you get by with scrolling around to see the screen?
That's the biggest drawback for me using a "pad"... Even the large screen ones like your 10" one...
I use both, so when I need to do stuff like post to RV.net, I use a laptop.. When I just want to poke around and view stuff, I'll use the pad. The only time I don't like using the pad is when I have to type.
