TurboTax isn't perfect.
Last year I actually spoke with one of their help line CPA's regarding a problem the TurboTax could not address. (I filed a tax extension and it was late in the year - so it was probably a slow day at the help line.)
Their CPA was able to construct a work-around for me that could satisfy the government forms.
I have always sent 1099's to subcontractors that I pay but have never used turbotax for that. Do you mean personally and not through a business?
