This is actually a second attempt at an apology. Last week, they announced a rebate for returning customers so that the price increase for a version that contained forms they needed was not so painful. Today, they acknowledged that first offer was not good enough. Now they claim you can buy your usual version and the missing forms will be free. Wonder whose head will roll from this major public relations snafu?

For us that went ahead and paid for the upgrade, the $25 rebate (that you have to jump through hoops to get within a specific calendar time frame) is less than the cost of the upgrade with sales tax. It's a good product but they really messed up on this one. Thinking about looking for another product next year.
