Update - I got it working!! :B
I unscrewed the screws on the stereo, and pulled it out ... And noticed right away that two of the cables were not in tight. Pushed them in tight, put the stereo back in, and the movie played. Yay!!
It is a stereo/MP3/CD/DVD and who knows what else player.
