TV Antenna

What would be a good replacement brand for a plain old over the air antenna for the RV. Just your old standard RV antenna. Thank you
  • Ours does not crank up its stationary and only points in one direction. Its real low to the roof. would the Wineguard fit on that post?
  • Winegard Batwing with the "fingers added." We had one of those little omni-direction things to replace a bad winegard and the little round one was not worth 2 cents. Would not do that anymore.

Would replace top portion of Batwing only if crank up part is still in good condition. Also, I used silicone grease on all moving parts on one of my rvs every year or so.

Do you have a Wingard Now? There is an add on part to make it for high definition/ digital.I think they call it, Winegard RV-WING Wingman White UHF Booster TV Antenna You can get it on Amazon. Or by the whole antenna. I included a link to wingard.

The Wingman add-on does not make the Sensar (batwing) "high definition/digital", it does increase the signal gain of the built-in UHF antenna section though. Even an old pair of rabbit ears or a paper clip is capable of receiving "high definition/digital" programming if the signal is strong enough. Radio signals are radio signals...

Absolutely! Nothing better. Most issues with the Batwing are related to corrosion at the connections due to water intrusion.

  • Winegard Sensar IV is about the best, if your mast is ok, just replace the head.
