GO to AVSforum.com to do the research if you really want info and have lots of time to research. Other than that I like plasma but my room it too bright. I have a Sharp 60" LCD but wish I had gone with a back lit LED LCD. I think they are clearer and brighter but more expensive than the CFL lit LCD's. Do a comparison between edge lit vs. back lit LED, Mine also sucks the electricity.
