George, the HW-150PVR does have pass through. You go into the menu, and under Modulation, change it from channel 3/4 to loop through.

that what i needed to know
i didn't want to use the PVR tuner for normal TV operation
the ability to pass thru the RF and use the TV tuner, avoids splitting the signal and reducing its strength, even though i have an in line antenna amp
sometimes signal quality is dicey
one more i should have asked
will it record XX channel and allow pass thru, to watch the TV tuner ?
not an absolute necessity, there are seldom TWO things on at the same time that interest us, except when the Olympics are on
my main use would be recording PBS and the next winter Olympics
