30second clip cut from a 60 minute recording, NBC's "GRIMM"
youtube video link, watch in '1080 HD' for max quality
even so the quality has been reduced, the cut clip is/was 57mb the youtube HD clip is only 14.3mb
the only way to show the 'REAL' quality would be a file share/storage site, maybe google cloud or something
i did this for testing
after watching the recording and cutting out a clip
i renamed the recording in HWPVR folder using the laptop PC
I then reconnected the HD to the USB port of the PVR
i was able to view the renamed file and play it on the PVR
subsequent checking with the laptop, showed the name had been changed in the 'int' file by the PVR
in other words, you can rename files using your PC, and the PVR will accept them and update it's own record's with the NEW file names
don't have to do the time consuming hunt and choose letter by letter renaming process on the PVR
so far i very happy, wish there was a ONE BUTTON choice to get to the playback menu
