I now own both the HomeWorX and iView boxes. Basically both units function the same. The HDMI video out is good except the chroma (color saturation) is higher than normal. Both boxes have a problem with the composite video out. The picture exhibits a bit of flag waving at the top of the frame on bright scenes. Menus on both boxes consist of light gray characters over a gray background. The iView compounds the issue with some menus being translucent so that programming can be seen in the background making it very difficult to read the text. A better option would have been white characters over a black background. The front LED display on the iView is totally useless. It typically displays a channel number such as CH0003. This does not correspond to the station channel number.
One thing I would really like to see is a 30 second skip. Neither box has this feature. Firmware is easily updated, so hopefully the feature will be added soon.
Since the iView remote is much better I would recommend it over the HomeWorX.
Considering the price, either box is an exceptional unit.
