i return the passport drive
bought a Toshiba desk top external 2TB, USB 3.0 NTFS
PVR recognized the drive 1862.xx GB free
did a short 3 min test recording
record 'start' still takes about 30 seconds or more, this is an empty drive
so i assume 'my' unit is just a 'tad' slower on startup than some others
nothing i can't work around
i haven't seen it in the users manual
is there a way to manually set the start - stop time, NOT using the EPG
so i could program the start time at 7:59 finish at 9:00
the extra minute would do the job.. always did this with the VCR, so it would be recording when the show started
