installed a Samsung 32 inch last fall ( 720 HD ). hard bolted to cabinet top.
Best Buy, if its viewing angle is not good.. take it back and try a different model.
Just walk closely down the row of TV's viewing them at a great angle. You will quickly see which has the best viewing angle.
I Did my homework... I read technical manuals.. so I read up on the better brands.. and posted numbers...
retired auto mechanic.. so I had to read the latest tech manuals on cars hitting the dealerships before they arrived. - pyoung47ExplorerI have a 19 inch that uses a 12 volt wall wart. I can power it from the battery when off grid. Bought it at Wal Mart.
- kgie1217ExplorerI bought a refurbished 32" Vizio Smart LED HDTV 1080p from Walmart's website for $179. I replaced my original 32" in the camper with the new 32" Vizio. I use the old 32" for my outdoor TV needs. The Vizio has done great and the HD picture is spot on.

One thing to remember when purchasing a TV for the RV is to look at the viewing angle,if you can go to the store and sit lower then off to each side to see what it looks like at those angles.
A DVD player is also nice to have.
Most times in a RV you wont be looking straight on at it. I found out the hard way after buying and returning 2 TVs, thatsometimes at those angles the screen is washed out or black making them un-viewable
.......
X10!!
Been there done that. Sitting on the couch you can watch it, but lay down or if You move from the couch to the dinette and all you will see is black on the screen. - Johno02ExplorerVisios from Walmart, best Buy, work well.
- BB_TXNomadI went to Best Buy and bought a 32" Samsung LED/LCD for the living room and a 19" Samsung LCD for the bedroom. Nothing special.

That you like
Do you have a sound system?
If using only the TV speakers, pay close attention to where the speakers are, which way the sound goes and how loud is the volume
Rear speakers facing into a cabinet really can hurt the volume
