I had reason to look into FreedomPop last fall. My credit card information had been stolen and was used to buy a phone from them. For some reason it was sent to me instead of the person who ordered it. I spent over an hour on the phone one day and another hour a few days later trying to explain to them I did not order the phone and wanted to return it. Finally got that settled. While I was at it, looked up information about them on the internet and found a lot of customer service complaints, to include some rather nefarious billing procedures if you go over your allotted minutes.
Just something to check into before signing a contract.
