it wont take long to find out what the restrictions are. With every unlimited offering there are the ones that just have to stream day and night to see just how far they can push it. It took Cricket less than a week to start making changes to their terms to include possible throttling and language against unreasonable use.
Granfathered unlimited Verizon plans have a higher upfront cost but you would make it up in months with lower monthly fees.
T-mobile is doing the big push for subs and there are deals everywhere. You can pay much less for unlimited talk, text and data with the only limitation being how much data you can run through the hotspot. Since most of those plans include Binge on and stream on meaning Netflix, you tube, crackle and others don't count against your limits on data or hotspot, it's not as limiting as it sounds.
An example is my 4gas T-Mobile 5 gig hotspot with Binge on for less than $20 a month. I stream movie after movie and will never use up that 5 gigs. Loading forum pages do count and it takes a lot of those to use 5 gigs.
Last thing is do these plans include roaming. Most secondary sellers don't include it and it can be a issue when the carrier has a agreement for a large area. Much of the coverage in the mountains doesn't come from carrier owned towers.
