Use an obd adapter either 120 volt or 12 volt and leave on 24 7 .. tons written on this.
I have a 2017 Chevy that has connected car for 20 bucks I use also in addition to the mobley..the car has a better antenna and power in weak areas but the car has to be “on” for it to work thus it’s secondary.
