Unlimited wifi no contract and what happened to mobley?

So I'm thinking about my upcoming 5 months snowbirding and figured I'd better get my mobley before I go. What I've found is "out of stock"; $599 and $799 plus very limited data at AT&T. What the? ...

I will caution you they do not work well in a remote area away from the tower. Also 4G is not available in many locations HTPSA or whatever they call it is what I have right now download speeds range from unusable to mostly 300kbs to 500kbs then some days 1mb to 1.5 mb.

My last stop was a constant 30Mb down.
