Unlimited wifi no contract and what happened to mobley?

So I'm thinking about my upcoming 5 months snowbirding and figured I'd better get my mobley before I go. What I've found is "out of stock"; $599 and $799 plus very limited data at AT&T. What the? ...

That he needs to go to a corporate AT&T store, which is different than leased outlets. THEY know what is still available even more than online.
