I've often heard the phrase Macs "just work". Just got a text this morning from a buddy's son-in-law asking if I could take a look at his Mac because it won't boot. If I can't get it up and running, he'll have to either pay a Mac tech to fix it or scrap it.
I personally wouldn't save any money by owning a Mac because in the 31 years that I've owned computers, I've never once paid anyone to fix one of my computers. Every once in awhile I have a hard drive or PSU fail but other than that, my Windows machines just keep on running without issue.
I don't care if you like Macs or not, I just hate when someone has a problem with their Windows computer, Mac people come out of the woodwork to tell that person to get a Mac with the claim that Macs "just work". Mac people will try to tell you that Apple uses higher quality components which is BS, they get their hard drives, memory, cpus, etc... from the same vendors that Windows machine mfrs get their components from.
