If you're sold on a desktop and really like your HP, there's a Pavilion with the AM8 processor, 1TB HD, 8GB memory (expandable to 16). Comes as a package or standalone (so you can add whatever monitor suits you or keep your current one if you like it).
We recently purchased a HP Pavilion laptop. So far the guy at the other end of the worktable seems to like it.

Will do. I like desktops because I can type 90 miles an hour and laptops really slow me down! For that reason I will probably always have a desk top. I'm thinking a tablet or small laptop for just laying around in my easy chair is a good idea though.
