What you will be doing is setting up a wireless network. Simple to do. Buy a wireless router, put a network cable into the cable modem output and that goes into the wireless router. Most wireless routers also have several wired ports that you can hard wire to if you want to connect via wired network. The router will have full directions to walk you through its set up. Set a password so that no one outside your home can access your network and you are all set. Some routers come with a USB port that will give you shared wireless storage with a USB stick drive. Add your printer into the network and you can both print wirelessly.
