I use my cell phone as a backup but won't consider using it as my primary. I have both Copilot and Sygic Truck installed on my phone so the map database is stored on the phone so I'm not dependent on cellular service. Even with that, I've had times that I've been in a city trying to follow some rather intricate directions and I'll get a text or a cell phone call that preempts the GPS rendering it useless. I'll stick with my Garmin!!
