Get rid of any form of antenna.
After all the woes that I see here, I'm glad I switched to Amazon Fire TV. I ditched my latest Dish also after having to agonize with Direct TV for years. Dealing with the constant breaking up of pixels, loss of signal on a cloudy day, I figured I've had enough so I researched and found a better way. . . Amazon Fire TV.
Throw away those nasty cables, splitters, video adapters and those clunky satellite dishes. I had a tailgater that I used for a couple of years that I wasn't really happy about. I always had to make sure I park my rig away from the nearest tree. This becomes a problem because it robs me the benefit of a shady spot especially during the summer months in Southern Ca.
With my Amazon Fire, I can watch only the channels that I want and the choice of hundreds of movies without commercial.
Best of all, I pay less than half of my subscription on DISH.
Besides, this web based TV will put cable and sat subscription a thing of the past. Millions have already switched.
I use mine with a hotspot device along with my cell phone subscription. Anywhere I can get cell phone reception I get a signal to watch TV.
I use this at home and on the road in my RV.
