Verizon Jetpack
Does anyone have any real world experience with the Verizon Jetpack? We want dependable connectivity on the road and already are contracted with Verizon on the phones.

Netflix does permit you to control the data rate online in your account settings. I think these settings override at least some of the ability of the system to automatically set the data rate.
yes netflix does let you set your effective data rate. go to your netflix account and select netflix.com/videoquality and select good, better or best. good is 0.3GB/hr best is between 1 and 4.7GB/hour depending on std video, HD, or 3D video
I've found that on the road, the "good" data rate is plenty fine for our use. And if you don't select a rate in your settings it will go for the fastest it can get which could gobble up data in a hurry.
