I am not a data user, no streaming, etc., but I want to enjoy a smart phone. The $60 loyalty plan comes out to about $80. I oohed and aahed over my wish phone, the Droud Maxx, and then walked out of Verizon with my basic phone in my pocket which costs me $40 per month (with discount). Am thinking at this point to experiment with Straighttalk for a bit to see what I think. I want to stay on Verizon network so my choices are limited with Straighttalk phones. What I do when camping is go online and change my 700 minute plan to either 2 or 4 gb for the duration of camping (tethering), and then when done, go back to 700 minute pay as you go data (which I don't use). So far this has worked fantastic for us when camping (that's funny, worried about internet when camping) but I have new device envy.
