Verizon Navigation and Data usage
I have, for the last week, used my S4 routing quite a bit while on vacation in an unfamiliar area this week. It has been 6 days since my monthly reset and I show just over 1.1 Gb of my 2 Gb allowance....

my personal experience is that the Verizon app uses more data than the google app
i use google maps, or "My Tracks", and i use map view only NOT satellite view
unless i need to see the buildings streets parking etc..
