The iPhones were also on verizon which is why I know there is a signal albeit a weak one so I want to try the cheapest solution first.
I'm also not looking for the best signal everywhere, just at my range. When I'm camping I have no intention of have cell phone, internet or tv. Probably.
I saw a post that mentioned the wilson sleek cradle for $100 isn. When I looked online I also saw wilson antennas for $20 which people had good luck both with and without the cradle. I would have to call Wilson and find out the correct antenna for the S3 but if it doesn't work alone I can always get the cradle and use them together. When I upgrade I will CERTAINLY be getting an iphone so all this is temporary anyway which is another reason I want to keep the cost down.
