Verizon V Consumer Cellular or others

Wife found an advertisement for Consumer Cellular in her AARP magazine for two lines, unlimited talk and text with 5G data. Ad says $55.00 per month which is less by a bit than our Verizon plan. Would like to hear from anyone that has had both carriers and how well satisfied you were. Jim.
  • We pay $76/Month including all taxes and fees with AT&T for 8GB of 4G on each phone. We also get roll over the next month. It does require paperless billing and autopay. Otherwise it's a little more each month.
  • 5G refers to speed-..;5GB refers to amount of data.

T-Mobile is 2 lines for $70 and unlimited 4G data on the phone and unlimited 3G data used as a hotspot. There are also NO fees or taxes added to that total, it's simply $70/month.
  • Consumer cellular was never designed for heavy users of data. Their plans favor talk & text with low data users.
  • 5G of data will go fast shared between two phones. What's the overage penalty look like?

Check out Google Fi, it's now open to the general public, and very favorably priced.
