Verizon voice mail

"You have.. 7.. new voice messages. First message, left..yesterday..Tuesday.. September 26th... at.. ten..thirty..eight..a..m....from seven...zero...two.. eight...eight.. four.. seven..six..five.. three. Duration, one minute and forty-two seconds. "

Verizon, do you think you could make this process any slower? I wish it worked like it does in the movies.

    Our cell has been acting up for the last few days.
    Signal bounces from no service to four bars extended network.
    We talked with Verizon for nearly an hour this morning.

    Years ago Big Red was the target of a class action suit regarding how slow their voicemail is. I believe it started over "You have reached an automated voice message system yada yada"

    Claimants alleged those few seconds, which were billables, added up to millions of dollars.

    It's really painful listening to that for every single message. I just give up. I made the mistake of applying for a home loan online, and now I get about 25 calls a day. I don't answer a single one.

    Just get the VM app. Then it's all touch presses. You don't have to listen to them in order.

    visual voice mail solves all of those problems. It's free, set it up, and you just listen to or read your voice mail. No worries.

    That's a bit curious as my Verizon voice mail does NOT read you the calling number; you have to push a digit to get that. Most of the time I wish it WAS automatic.
