VHS to DVD converter
We have a lot of VHS tapes we'd like to convert to DVDs. Why are converters still so expensive?? Nearly $200. Been about that for several years . Anyone have suggestion where to find one for less?

One book in particular that I have had to replace not once but twice..
Then there is all of my reference books which are quite worn out, vehicle repair manuals (IE "Chilton's or Haynes") have over the years been invaluable on quite a few occasions and have lots of grease stains and one even has long lost the front cover..
Seriously I would be highly doubtful that anyone would listen to ONE SONG OR ALBUM ONLY ONCE then never listen to it again.. Nor even FAVORITE movies or TV programs..
Granted in the last 20 yrs or so not many real classic movies have been produced nor has there been a lot of TV programs that I would even consider watching again.. But when one does come along that is a classic right at the start it is worth it to me to have my own copy to watch again at my convenience..
