Video streaming sites, free and legal.

I found this link on Flipbook.
It's a list of free video sites, some better than others.
Forget #10 it's Australia only.

Some great documentaries if you poke around also old movies.

  • With Archive.org I was able to download the entire 6 seasons of Northern Exposure. I think it was around 50GB but now I have it and just stream from computer to TV. AWESOME!
  • I've been playing around a bit.
So far the one I like best is Tubi TV
It has a great choice and it lets you chose the bit rate on Android devices.
Tap the screen then the HD logo upper right.

Just remember streaming video eats a LOT of bandwidth.. If you are using park Wi-Fi that leaves very little to share for others.. And if you are using your own cellular bandwidth.

Well I have one of those "Unlimited" plans. Just got a warning that even my "UNLIMITED" may be throttled as I hit 50 Gigs this month.. A lot of that is streaming video to the phone (not sent to comptuers via Wi_Fi) I only do a gig a week of video to the computers.. Often doing it using a Store's wi-fi to save what little I have (I've been throttled to the computers for over a week now they only get 10 Gig alotment before throttling).
  • I said earlier I had no need for streaming then you mentioned Northern Exposure.
That's enough for me, I'm on board. Thanks.

By the way that web site is #1 on the list I posted.
  • You should also check out https://archive.org/ I never had a need to stream but I have been missing the TV show Northern Exposure. I had recently bought a Fire TV and was looking around at what I might be able to use it for (cart before the horse thing). I found Archive.org and the Plex Media server and I now watch N. Exposure almost every night. They have some great stuff. I sent a small donation as I really appreciated the fact that I was no longer deprived of my favorite TV show ever! No money is required but they will ask!
  • I'm not new to streaming just never had a need for it.
After this find I poked around with my iPad.

I found these great apps for viewing free stuff on the pad.
    Crackle
    Popcornflix
    Tubi TV

    Lots of great viewing available.
    Started watching High Noon
