Volt meter or multimeter recommendation please

I am told I should have a volt meter or multimeter in my Class A gas RV tool chest but I have no idea what type or style. I don't even know the difference between a voltmeter and multimeter! I searche...

I'm using a "Southwire 21050T". It is also a clamp on 12V or 120V meter that is professional quality. Check EBAY for the best price, but it is available at Lowes.
