Voyager AWM 930 problem

Our camper came equipped with a Voyager AWM 930 radio/CD player. We purchased the camper new in 2005. Some time afterwards the radio died. I am not sure of the time frame as we don't use the radio that often. I purchased a replacement unit and all was well, for a while.
Same problem with the replacement. At some point it died. There is power to the unit and both have a fuse that is not blown. I have hesitated to buy another replacement because I have no idea why the units failed and this could get expensive. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what happened?
  • That is the route I am considering. I just wanted to check and see if there might be some electrical issue that I had overlooked.

If that's the one with the vertical CD made by Audiovox, it's a very low-end unit. I suggest replacing it with a better quality automotive system. Some modification would be needed like buying or making a faceplate, but you're better off in the long run.
